Luke 1:26 tells us that God sent the angel Gabriel to tell Mary about God’s plan for her life.
Gabriel told Mary, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!” Luke 1:28 (NLT)
How would you feel if an angel came to tell you God’s plan for your life? Would you feel surprised, or shocked, or afraid?
The angel told Mary that the Lord was with her and not to be afraid.
Gabriel told Mary, “You will become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and you will name Him Jesus.” Luke 1:31 (GNT)
Gabriel announced the coming of Jesus! It’s God’s plan for Jesus to come into all of our lives to make this a very Merry Christmas!
When Mary asked HOW? The angel replied, “Nothing is impossible for God.”
If you are wondering how … there’s a little song 🎵 that makes a wonderful prayer: Into my heart. Into my heart. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Come in today. Come in to stay. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.
Put an ANGEL somewhere in your home!😇 We hung our Gabriel from our kitchen light too! Click here if you wanna build a LEGO® angel from scratch.
The angel Gabriel tells us 3 things:
- Don’t be afraid 👉 the Lord is always with us.
- Jesus is coming 👉 invite Him to come into YOUR life.
- Nothing is impossible for God 👉 trust Him to do great things.

Kristina I love what you are doing with this message to families and children! Legos, what a great way for children to make the nativity as we go through the month of December and remember why we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I also love the song “So Will I” I was SO excited when we started singing it at Evangel! It is such a wonderful worship song.
Thank you, Lois, for your sweet encouragement!
